Hey everyone!

I'm Henry Zhang, a third-year Advanced Computer Science student at UNSW and a Sydney-based tech enthusiast. By day, I'm engineering at TikTok on backend systems that serve millions of global users. By night, I'm deep in the trenches of building my own SaaS product—an exhilarating challenge that keeps me innovating nonstop.

Although I don’t have a Wikipedia page (yet!), I love pushing boundaries in industry-scale projects.

Career

I’ve honed my software development skills through hands-on experience—migrating databases at TikTok to ensure zero downtime, solving data-structure and algorithm challenges at a high level, and crafting user-centric features that increase engagement. Whether designing sleek front-end interfaces or architecting large-scale backend solutions, my work centers on delivering tangible impact through cutting-edge technology.
